SILVA METRONOME SUBCONCIOUS RE-PROGRAM

The metronome sound includes a theta sound and an alpha sound. The theta metronome sound beats at 5 cycles per second and the alpha metronome sound at 10 cycles per second.

Alpha sound (7 and 14 Hz) - Some of the positive effects of boosting Alpha waves include lowering stress, reducing anxiety, decreasing depression, improving creative thinking and concentration, healing, maintaining positive thinking.

 

Theta sound ( 4 and 7) Hz - Some of the positive effects of boosting Theta sound include accessing, problematic conditions that may be the result of experiences when young, managing pain, body healing and rejuvenation, increasing mental clarity, lucid dreaming.

These sound is invaluable because it takes your mind into the altered state. An altered state, either alpha or theta, is the doorway to your subconscious mind. You have to be in an altered state to program your subconscious mind.

A metronome is a device that was invented to assist musicians in keeping time. It's ticking sound, similar to a clock can be adjusted to different beats per minute. In 1973, a doctor specializing in curing insomniacs, wrote up "The Brady Report." In it, he described the success he had had, curing insomnia using a metronome at 60 beats per minute. This beat coincides with the heartbeat of a human at rest. His tests showed great success in also relaxing muscles and the tenseness in certain individuals.

SILVA METRONOME METHOD 7-14 HZ

The Silva Method is a self-help program developed by José Silva, designed to enhance cognitive and intuitive abilities through techniques like meditation, relaxation, and visualization. Its core objective is to help individuals access more of their brain's potential, leading to improved problem-solving, creativity, and overall well-being. A key aspect of the Silva Method involves reaching the Alpha state, a brainwave frequency between 7 and 14 Hz.

The Alpha state is characterized by relaxed alertness, reduced stress, and enhanced creativity. It serves as a bridge to the subconscious mind, allowing for a freer flow of ideas and a less critical, more expansive thinking process compared to the Beta state (14 to 30 Hz), which is associated with active thinking, focus, and potential stress.

Practitioners of the Silva Method aim to consciously enter and utilize the Alpha state for various benefits, including:

  • Enhanced Relaxation and Stress Reduction: The Alpha state promotes deep relaxation, helping to lower stress and anxiety levels, which positively impacts physical health and emotional well-being.

  • Improved Focus and Creativity: Accessing Alpha is believed to boost focus, creativity, and the ability to generate new ideas, fostering a state of "flow" .

  • Increased Intuition and Problem-Solving Abilities: The method suggests that the Alpha state allows for better access to intuition, leading to improved problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Better Memory and Learning: The relaxed yet alert nature of the Alpha state is conducive to absorbing and retaining new information.

  • Enhanced Mind-Body Connection: Proponents believe that entering Alpha can positively influence physical health and accelerate healing processes.

The Silva Method also incorporates techniques to reach the Theta state (4 to 8 Hz), associated with deep meditation and creativity, and aims to help individuals overcome limiting beliefs and achieve personal goals..

To practice the Silva Method and enter the Alpha state, several techniques are employed:

  • The Four-to-One Method: This involves counting backward from five to one (or higher numbers initially) while relaxing and focusing. A common practice is to close your eyes and look slightly upward at a 20-degree angle, which can trigger the Alpha state.

  • Visualization: A central component is creating a "mental screen" about six feet in front of you and projecting simple, vivid images onto it. This practice helps train the mind to go quietly into Alpha and focus.

  • Body Relaxation: Systematically relaxing different parts of the body, from head to toe, helps deepen the meditative state.

  • Affirmations: Once in a deep state of relaxation, positive affirmations are used to reprogram the mind for desired outcomes, such as "Every day, I get better and better".

The affirmations are most effective when repeated mentally while in the relaxed alpha brainwave state (7-14 Hz), which is a light meditative state.

  1. Enter the Alpha State: The method usually involves relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or counting backward from 100 to 1 with your eyes closed and rolled slightly upward.

  2. Repeat the Affirmation: Once at the alpha level, you mentally repeat your chosen positive affirmations with conviction and emotion.

  3. Visualize: Pairing the affirmation with vivid mental images of the desired outcome enhances the effect. For the "getting better" affirmation, you might visualize yourself succeeding at your job, improving relationships, or enjoying better health.

  4. Exit the State: To conclude the session, you count from one to five, affirming that you will be wide awake and feeling better than before at the count of five.

The Silva Method suggests a structured practice schedule, starting with longer countdowns (e.g., 100 to 1) and gradually shortening them as proficiency increases. The goal is to be able to enter the Alpha state at will, not just in the mornings, but throughout the day for various purposes.

While the exact science behind all claims of the Silva Method is still debated, the importance of nervous system regulation for cognition, health, and emotional well-being is widely recognized. Listening to specific frequencies, such as 528 Hz, is also gaining popularity for its calming effects and ability to promote focus and relaxation, which aligns with the Silva Method's emphasis on shifting mental states
