Today has been such a meaningful day for our healing oil movement team. We’ve been working tirelessly over the past few weeks to gather and prepare all the materials we need, and this morning brought a wonderful surprise that felt like a true blessing.

We’ve been planning to distribute anointing oil creams this coming Holy Week, as we want to bring comfort and hope to those who need it most in our community. There were so many things on our checklist – from sourcing the ingredients for the cream to organizing proper packaging and storage. We were a bit worried about how we’d keep everything safe and organized, especially since we’re aiming to reach as many families as possible across different areas in Metro Manila.

Then, out of nowhere, we received a donation of 350 pieces of storage containers specifically designed for the anointing oil cream! When the delivery arrived, everyone on the team was overjoyed. The containers are perfect – sturdy enough to withstand transport, and just the right size for easy sharing. It felt like a sign that our efforts are being guided and supported, and it gave us all a huge boost of energy to keep pushing forward.

We spent the rest of the day sorting through the remaining materials, checking inventory lists, and mapping out our distribution routes for Holy Week. Each team member took on their assigned tasks with renewed enthusiasm, knowing that we now have everything we need to make this initiative a success. We even took a moment to pray together, thanking the universe for this timely blessing and asking for guidance as we prepare to share these gifts of care.

I can already picture the smiles on people’s faces when we hand them the anointing oil creams – knowing that we’re able to bring a little light into their lives during this sacred time makes all the hard work completely worth it.

Until next time,

Yuna
